**another thing to note is that if your file is really large and complex with imported meshes and geometry, sometimes keyshot renders slower than other softwares (I think). If you're looking to make top-of-the-line renders then I would echo what dawn said and get bootcamp and run lumion or vray. I'd say that if you're looking for something quick and intuitive that offers you room to grow, keyshot is a great solution. When I went to school they taught us sketchup and vray, but then we all switched to rhino and I used keyshot. I'd highly recommend keyshot also because it's very intuitive once you get familiarized with your surroundings in the app. I also enjoy that rhino has a command to launch and update keyshot now whereas you used to have to import each time. You can also make some cool axonometric animations.
You can bring in HDRI's, adjust sun position, add custom lights, create your own materials, and even edit geometry in the app. I second the recommendation for keyshot! In my understanding, at its best it's not as powerful as something like vray or lumion but it's pretty damn good.
